Bibury

16 km – with AAA Meetup.

Bibury is supposedly Englands most beautiful village, situated in the Cotswolds near Cirencester. I took my chance and joined a hiking meetup for the first time. As Bibury has no public transport connection to London it’s a little more difficult to reach it when you don’t own a car (me). So we took the mini bus which was organised by the meetup. The group was quite big though – around 25.

However, it was a really nice trip. One of Bibury’s main features was its trout farm where they offered fresh fish for lunch. Not speaking of our tea time stop after the walk in a little, corny café with fantastic scones and hot chocolate.
