Weekly Photo Challenge: New

This week’s photo challenge is about “New”. The obvious thing to refer to is New Year’s. But no, no! New Year’s is gone. What I’m looking forward to most in this winter is spring. When nature wakes up and delights us with new life and friendly, lively colours. I can’t wait for it to happen.

    @sustainabilitea: Thank you, Janet!
    @jazzytower: Jazzytower, that is a very good question. It’s a tree that I came across on one of my hikes in East Sussex, England. I liked the way it unfolded its leaves but I have no idea what kind of tree it is. @all: is there a brilliant, botanical mind here studying the infancy of English trees and can help us out??

  2. Love the photo.

    What a nice photo! What is that?

  4. Steffi says:

    Haha, Tina, that is very true. Winter has its advantages. Still, I’m missing the sunshine. There’s not much of it here in England. :/

    Ah spring – yes but don’t wish away the winter. It’s 3 months you’ll never get back!! Think of all the closet cleaning you can do 😊 Lovely photo!
